We passed on the 30 dollar breakfast & checked out early to have a great meal in Louisville. They charged us over 70 bucks (for both of us) for their buffet which was really mediocre. Then you realize the inconvenience driving to civilization for a meal. Horseshoe is surrounded by farms, one thinks nice & secluded until dinner time rolls around. The garage was a complete mess since they are under construction. Valet promised to get some ice for her & never returned - too bad - I had a nice tip waiting after I returned to the room. Valet service was touted as being "complimentary" but when the spouse was going to the room with a valet moving our bags - I was parking the vehicle - she had no money for a tip. As a lot have mentioned, there is quite a walk between the Casino and your rooms. You can smell cigarettes and cigars everywhere - doesn't matter if it is a designated non smoking floor or not - it reeks.
